IRDA appoints Pulse Group

Pulse Group has recently been awarded the brand audit engagement by Iskandar Regional Development Authority (IRDA) for Iskandar Malaysia the southern development corridor in the state of Johor. The appointment is for one year and will see the agency gauge the brand perception of Iskandar Malaysia among its stakeholders across the globe. Iskandar covers the entire district of Johor Bahru (including the island within the district), Mukim Jeram Batu, Mukim Sungai Karang, Mukim Serkat and Kukup Island in Mukim Ayer Masin, all within the district of Pontian.

Maybank gives a lion dance treat

Maybank has launched its festive-linked Facebook app ‘CNY with Maybank’ giving away customers a chance to win RM250 worth of ang pow’s daily and a personal lion dance performance for its three top winners. To enter Maybank FB users will have to create their virtual lion dance to be sent to their loved ones. Maybank will then select the best lion dance entry. The campaign which runs till the end of the month was conceptualised by Zed Digital, the digital brand under Zenithmedia.

Orchan gets SME friendly

Local boutique PR agency Orchan has introduced its PR concept package, Chocolate Box PR for local start-up businesses and small-medium enterprises. Designed as an introduction and starting point for entrepreneurs (be it selling a product or offering a service), Chocolate Box PR, the company claims, is applicable to any business which has not utilised PR before.

OCBC Cycle Singapore partners Volvo

Volvo has signed on as the official vehicle partner for OCBC Cycle Singapore 2012 on 2-4 March. The event's roadshow will take place at the Volvo showroom in mid-February. Volvo vehicles will also be promoting the event on the roads in Singapore and will run a unique promotion sale of its cars for the public on 2 March.
