Creative manpower boost for BBC Global Channels

Global - BBC Worldwide has appointed Garry Sinclair and Gus Gordon as VP creative and CD Asia Pacific respectively, to bolster the visual identity and branding of its Global Channels business.

Gordon is based in Singapore and reports to Christine Leo-McKerrow, senior vice president, Global Channels Asia-Pacific while London based-Sinclair reports to Darren Childs, MD BBC Global Channels.

Gordon is responsible for creating the on-air presentation and branding activities for BBC Global Channels Asia Pacific's portfolio of channels, which include BBC Knowledge, BBC Lifestyle, BBC Entertainment, CBeebies and BBC HD.

Before joining BBC Worldwide, Gordon was CD, factual channels, for Foxtel in Australia and New Zealand where he handled on-air and off-air promotions and branding across The History Channel, Biography Channel and Crime Investigation Channel.

In London, Sinclair is tasked with developing and maintaining the brand identities of all BBC Worldwide global channels, as well as overseeing the launch of on air creative elements of BBC-branded channels.

He previously managed his own production company and also worked as senior director, creative and programme development with Nickelodeon Asia Pacific.
