Bang celebrates Be Here For Good Things win

Singapore - BHG Singapore (Be Here For Good Things) has appointed Bang PR to manage publicity for its stores, and tasked the agency with communicating its growth in the retail market place through publicity of its corporate strength, retail innovations, and service excellence.

Earlier in the year, Seiyu Singapore officially changed its name to BHG Singapore in agreement with the terms of the deal struck between CapitaLand and Beijing Hualian Group who purchased Seiyu Singapore in December 2005. The one-year handover period has elapsed and according to BHG Singapore's executive director, Sosuke Nishiwaki, the agency will play a part in public relations and marketing activities as the brand implements its rebranding campaign.

"The BHG group's PR requirements extend from retail to corporate and we are well-versed in both disciplines having done projects for retail names like Godiva, Spain2Dream and corporate client RHB Bank Singapore," MD for Bang PR, Koh Juat Muay said.

In the final round of pitches, Bang beat off at least two other agencies for the business, and the agency can expect to have a busy September as BHG Singapore's Bugis Junction outlet completes renovation, first week of that month. A two week event to launch the outlets new cosmetics and beauty department is expected will be held from 7 to 20 September, and part of Bang's role will involve promoting the new in-house brands available from BHG.
