Singapore - Icon International Communications has hired Adeline Goh to the role of director of corporate practice as well as promoting Judith Knight to director of client services, and Nawaz Marican to director of technology practice, while Janice Lee Fang has also been promoted to senior consultant.
Goh joins the agency after three and a half years as head of corporate communications for the Institute of Bioengineering and Nanotechnology, which is part of the Singapore Government's Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*Star). She is tasked with managing major accounts, expanding the practice into new business sectors and mentoring and developing team members.
Knight will now oversee new business development, account management and internal training and processes - she joined the agency from Burson-Marsteller in 2006 as lead consultant. Marican's promotion to director of technology practice will see him responsible for account management, business development and mentoring members of the technology team.
As senior consultant, Fang will be responsible for managing accounts such as Boeing, Business Software Alliance, Frasers Hospitality, Iris Worldwide and Singapore Airshow - she is also ex-BM.
