CNBC nabs NBCU man

Singapore - CNBC has hired ex-NBC Universal Television Distribution, VP of business affairs, Alan Seiffert as its new senior VP of business development and partnerships.
Seiffert will report directly to president and MD for CNBC Asia Pacific, Jeremy Pink and will now oversee the company's efforts to build business opportunities in the Asia Pacific region. He will be based in Singapore and will also manage relations with CNBC's current partners in the region.
"He was such an integral part of the team at NBCU, having had numerous successes, during his tenure there and given his vast experience and his impressive credentials, we look forward to the growth of the CNBC network, and the expansion of the CNBC brand within the region, under his leadership," Pink said.
