EIGHT PARTNERSHIP   BRANDING   BLOG

Hong Kong - Eight Partnership has taken branding to the public domain by replicating its office in Victoria Park in a bid to reach out to the SME sector.

The three meter by three meter office was set up to coincide with the Chinese New Year flower market held at Victoria Park that will showcase the agency's daily operations to thousands of visitors.

Chris Kyme, creative partner for Eight said, "We want to illustrate to people what branding is as well as promote our business."

"What better and more creative way to show people what we do, than to set up an office in the park?" he added.

Christopher Chan, associate creative director for Eight, one of the three staff members manning the mini-office, said this is the first time the agency is doing self promotion outside the office premises.

He said the objective is to reach out to SMEs and correct their misconceptions that branding is only for big companies.

He wants those companies to know even with a little budget, you can create buzz.

Apart from conducting meetings with potential clients at the booth, Eight will also be on a talent hunt to interview candidates for positions with the company.

The office was set up yesterday and will be available until this Saturday.

Eight has also set up a dedicated blog to provide updates on this initiative.
