Singapore - Singapore Press Holdings' (SPH) out-of-home arm SPHMediaBoxOffice (SPHMBO) has been appointed by *SCAPE to manage a series of outdoor performances titled ‘Sounds Like Saturday' in Orchard Road.
Part of Singapore Tourism Board's (STB) and Orchard Road Building Association's (ORBA) efforts to hype up Singapore's key shopping belt with vibrant and youthful activities and rebrand the Orchard-Somerset zone as a youth-centric hub, ‘Sounds Like Saturday' debuted this month with, will continue to take place every Saturday night until 27 March.
"SPHMBO is pleased to work with *SCAPE, STB and ORBA to promote *SCAPE as a place for the youth and to showcase its new home in the Orchard area. Tapping on the talents of our young people, these events bring energy and vibrancy to Orchard Road, adding another dimension to the tourism efforts to make it one of the most entertaining and recognisable streets in Singapore," Edward Tang, general manager of SPHMBO, said.
