GROUPM PEOPLE MINDSHARE DEPARTURE
- New MD comes on board
- Bharad Ramesh quits Mindshare
- After a six-year stint
Singapore - In a turn of events at Mindshare Singapore, Peter Diermayr has come on board as the new managing director while deputy leader Bharad Ramesh has quit after a six-year stint.
Diermayr replaces Sony Wong, who quit the agency late last year to move to a client-side role. In his new role Diermayr will report directly to James Chadwick, GroupM Singapore CEO and Ashutosh Srivastava, Mindshare Asia-Pacific leader.
Prior to this, he was the client leader at Mindshare Asia Pacific operations. Since arriving in Singapore as regional account director for Wunderman Asia Pacific in the year 2000, Diermayr has held various management roles in WPP companies, and will bring a fresh expertise to the agency in the fields of relationship and digital marketing.
Ramesh started his career at Ogilvy's media division in Bangalore, India, and then moved to Mindshare China as manager of consumer insights in 2003. Before moving south to take up his current position as deputy leader for Mindshare, Ramesh was national tactical planning director for Mindshare China, responsible for implementation planning, tools & audience research across the agency's client list.
Ramesh confirmed the development while Mindshare refused to comment on his replacement. _________________________________________________________________________________________
