Aegis hires comms and planning director

• Aegis Media names Mark Chaves as comms and planning director
• Reports directly to executive chairman Margaret Lim
• Previously at Carat Philippines

Malaysia - Aegis Media Group Malaysia has appointed Mark Chaves to a communications and planning director role, reporting directly to executive chairman Margaret Lim.

Chaves was formerly strategic director, communications planning director for Carat Philippines.

"Mark will champion Intergrated Communications Planning in the group, especially with the Carat and Vizeum business teams. With Mark on board, we will raise the bar in the services offered to our clients," Lim said.

He has had stints at Basic/ZenithOptimedia and Universal McCann, and has worked on both local and multinational clients including Procter & Gamble, The Coca-Cola Company, Nestle, United Laboratories, and Jollibee Foods Corporation.
