PUBLICIS PEOPLE APPOINTMENT ECD AWARD
- Publicis names Peter Gausis as ECD
- Succeeds Andy Soong
- Appointment effective February
Malaysia – Publicis Malaysia has named Peter Gausis as its new executive creative director following the departure of Andy Soong from the agency.
"We have huge ambitions for the Malaysian agency. We are seeking to build a new model where we have specific discipline leads, working in partnership across each of our core business unit. We have labelled it 'The New Publicis'," Dean Bramham, CEO of Publicis Malaysia, said.
The agency’s re-structure aims to build a new, innovative approach to the fast changing advertising, digital and retail environments.
"Contagious ideas that change the conversation is the Publicis global promise. To do this we need specialists working together; seamless, collaborative and focused. The new structure promises to deliver an exciting new creative potential for the agency," Bramham said.
Gausis has 25 years of experience across seven markets including long stints at AMV, BMP, Leagas Delaney and Chiat/Day. He also worked on several global campaigns for clients such as The Economist, Sainsbury’s, Barclays and Audi.
His appointment is effective in February.
