Sony calls game on at HKIA

Hong Kong - Sony Computers has struck a deal with the Airport Authority Hong Kong to install some 14 PlayStation3 game poles at the Hong Kong International Airport.

Sony Computer Entertainment Hong Kong has installed a total of 14 PlayStation3 Game Poles at various locations in the Hong Kong International Airport.

Under the agreement the gaming giant will give free access to the latest PS3TM games including Final Fantasy XIII, James Cameron's Avatar: The Game, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves and Assassin's Creed 2.

The poles will be stationed at various spots including areas near the boarding gates at Terminal 1 and the Coach Station at Terminal 2.

HKIA is one of the busiest airports around the globe, handling the world's fourth highest international passenger volume.

Research shows that departing passengers' dwell time is around four hours at HKIA, with an average of more than three hours being spent within the restricted area.
