CNBC launches Korean channel

- A 24-hour news channel in Korean language
Korea - CNBC and Seoul Broadcasting System (SBS) together have launched SBS-CNBC, a 24-hour Korean news channel.
Satpal Brainch, president & managing director, CNBC Asia Pacific, described Korea as an important market for the broadcast group.
"SBS has a clear understanding of both the Korean business news viewer and the CNBC brand. We are very excited to celebrate the launch of the SBS-CNBC channel," he added.
SBS-CNBC will focus on Korea's daily business news, along with international coverage from CNBC bureaus around the world._____________________________________________________________________________________
