F&N buoyed by soft drink and dairy brands
- F&N operating profit grows to RM313.9 million year ended 30 September '09

Malaysia - Fraser & Neave Holdings grew its operating profit by 22.3% to RM313.9 million for the year ended 30 September 2009 on the back strong performances from the Group's soft drinks and dairies divisions.
F&N Holdings profit after taxation was RM243 million. The figures were released at the company's annual general meeting held in Kuala Lumpur yesterday.
"Our soft drinks sales grew by 10.5% boosted by a stronger volume demand. For the dairies division margins improved as it successfully defended selling prices in the premium market segment and shifted its product mix to take advantage of new opportunities arising from lower input cost," "F&N Holdings CEO, Tan Ang Meng, said.
Earlier this month, F&N Holding's unveiled the new corporate identity of its soft drinks division with the launch of F&N Beverages Marketing and F&N Beverages Manufacturing.
On Monday, F&N Beverages Marketing will announce a strategic beverage distribution agreement with AirAsia as it bids to to grow its 100PLUS brand further.
