My Paper gets a facelift
SINGAPORE PRESS HOLDINGS MAGAZINES SINGAPORE MEDIA
- my papers gets new design & content
- Offers advertisers more freedom
- Promotional ad packages on offer
Singapore - my paper, the free bilingual newspaper published by Singapore Press Holdings (SPH), will have a new look in design and content from this Monday and will allow advertisers more freedom with creative concepts.
With a new masthead, the revamped my paper comes with a new tagline, "The Best of Both Worlds". According to a statement from SPH, the tagline encapsulates not just the best of both English and Chinese news coverage but also the best of both business and lifestyle content.
With more pages, the new my paper offers an enhanced range of social, political, business, entertainment and lifestyle news.
The English section will see an increase in its business coverage with more pages devoted to financial, business and personal finance news, views and commentaries. The Chinese section, which will be moved to the centre of the newspaper, will retain its diet of lifestyle and entertainment content for the urban readers. There will also be more analyses and commentaries on local and international issues.
The revamped product will also adopt a cleaner design that allows advertisers the freedom to execute creative "out of the box" advertising concepts such as odd-shaped advertisements, advertorials and cover-wraps.
Retaining its current circulation of 250,000 copies, my paper will continue to be distributed at MRT stations, the Central Business District, as well as targeted homes and private residences.
"The recent Media Index Report indicates that my paper has the biggest increase in readership among all local newspapers with a 50% year on year increase," said Robin Hu, senior executive vice president of newspaper services and Chinese newspapers of SPH.
As part of its revamp, my paper is offering promotional advertising packages. Advertisers who purchase three full-page insertions within three months at $6,000 per ad will enjoy one free insertion, and advertisers who purchase six full-page insertions within three months at $5,500 per ad will be given two free insertions.
The offer is until 31 December 2009 and advertisers must utilise their free advertisements before 31 March 2010.
To celebrate my paper's revamp, readers stand to win a HP Mini 110 Netbook worth $700 every day, from next Monday to Thursday, in the My Paper Word Search Contest.
