Mindshare China adds senior Guangzhou role
Beijing - Mindshare China has promoted Siewping Lim (pictured) to a new national role as vice president and Danny Xu from partner client leadership to leader for its Guangzhou office.
Lim will continue to be based in Beijing. Her new role, which takes effect immediately includes overseeing the strategic growth and operations of Mindshare China.
She will report to Bessie Lee, acting president and CEO for Mindshare and GroupM China respectively.
Lee said this is a well deserved promotion for Lim who showed eight years of outstanding performance at Mindshare. Lim joined Mindshare Malaysia in 2002 as AOR director for Unilever, then as business director in Tokyo, general manager in Guangzhou and in 2007 as MD or leader at Mindshare Beijing.
"Siewping is a great example of talent and career development within Mindshare, " Lee added.
Xu has also been promoted to leader for Mindshare Guangzhou and will report directly to Lim, vice president for Mindshare China.
"Mindshare Guangzhou is a very important office for our strategic business growth in South China. With Danny in place, we expect to strengthen our ability to continue the momentum and expand our business," Lim said.
Xu has worked with the Mindshare Guangzhou office as business director since 2005, then he was promoted and transferred to Beijing as partner client leadership responsible for winning businesses with clients like Skandia, FJ Daimler and China Tourism.
