Men's Health, Berocca launch endurance race
Singapore - Men's magazine Men's Heath is launching a new endurance race in Singapore which is being sponsored by Berocca.
The Men's Health Urbanathlon 2010 will be held on 31 January and feature a series of urban obstacles on its 12.5km course testing the competitors strength, stamina and agility. Berocca is the presenting sponsor for the event but Men's Health is also seeking other sponsors to take part.
The Men's Health Urbanathlon was first launched in New York in 2006, and the Singapore edition is jointly organized by HiVelocity. Around 1000 competitors are expected to take part in the event.
Karen Ong, marketing manager of Bayer Consumer Care, said in a statement that Berocca is proud to be presenter for the Men's Health Urbanathlon as there is a "strong link between both brands".
"Berocca is a unique multi-vitamin preparation which helps one stay sharp and prepared to overcome the challenges in everyday life, while the Men's Health Urbanathlon will test the participants' mental ability, stamina and agility in conquering the obstacles they will encounter in their race to glory," she said.
Berocca also sponsors Men's Health's ‘Are You Men's Health Enough?' competition. In July Men's Health was refreshed with a revamped website, new editorial content and new design.
