Beyonce not too hot for Hotlink
HOTLINK MAXIS SPONSORSHIPS MARKETING
- Hotlink main sponsor for Beyonce concert
- Has launched official website for the gig
- Follows shortly after rebrand
Malaysia – While public debate on whether Beyonce should be allowed to perform in Malaysia continues to get publicity, Hotlink has been stepping up efforts to capitalise on its sponsorship of the show.
Beyonce is set to perform on 25 October and as main sponsor of the gig Hotlink has launched an official website which other than providing concert details also gives fans the ability to locate pre-concert parties and download mobile content.
Maxis Communications recently rebranded its prepaid brand Hotlink to achieve a more consistent brand image across both its Maxis and Hotlink brands. A company spokesperson said Beyoncé’s concert is consistent with Hotlink’s philosophy of only bringing the very best to their customers which it is doing through discounted tickets, priority seating and innovative music downloads.
"It is in line with our latest brand promise, 'There is always more with Hotlink.'" she said.
Creatives were done by BBDO and MindShare handles media buying.
Other sponsors of the Beyonce concert include fashion label Guess.
