TravMedia strengthens China offering

Hong Kong - Online travel news portal TravMedia has partnered with more than 400 Asian travel companies as part of its plan to strengthen its presence across Asia Pacific and Greater China.

With the increasing demand of Chinese contents by clients, TravMedia, used by journalists and PR professionals, providing press releases in Traditional and Simplified Chinese as provided by clients from July. It includes hotel groups, airlines, tourism boards, cruise lines and other travel related businesses.

"We have about 1200 registered bona fide editors/journalists using our site in Asia. Of these a significant number work for the Chinese media. We therefore want to support them with Chinese language content. And we feel that by having more Chinese content we can grow the number of TravMedia Asia users considerably." Lauren Michod, regional manager Asia of TravMedia said.

TravMedia, collaborated with LHK Media, also revamped its website by improving video streaming functionality such as streaming clients' press conferences on the online portal as well as increasing photo gallery capacity for media download.
