MEC wins Activision global business

Global - Mediaedge:cia has picked up the massive global media account for online gaming giant Activision Blizzard following a pitch.
MEC won the pitch, which included OMD, Starcom MediaVest and Horizon Media. According to overseas media, the business is believed to be worth between $200-250 million.
MEC declined to comment when contacted by Marketing.
Activision Blizzard makes popular games such as World Of Warcraft and Guitar Hero. It is believed the implications for the brand in Asia are still being worked out.
