Singapore - Mediaedge:cia India has promoted managing director Shubha George as chief operating officer for South Asia.
In her new role, she will now focus on business development particularly in the areas of digital and interaction, under MEC Interaction, as well as partnerships and entertainment, under MEC Access, along with the full integration of these services into the core MEC business.
GeorgeĀ is also tasked to integrate initiatives such as e-learning, data outsourcing and digital integration, in Asia Pacific and will continue to report to Joost Dop, chief executive officer of Asia Pacific for MEC.
"I am very excited to be taking on this wider business role and look forward to being able to import and export ideas within India and across the region, it's an exciting time to be working on the integration of our business at all levels," George said.
