- Management overhauled
Singapore - Managing director Ho Sum Kwong and publisher Cecilia Goh have left local lifestyle magazine publisher Edipresse Appetite Media, with the company overhauling its management structure.
Barrie Goodridge, CEO and publisher of Edipresse Asia, the owner of Edipresse Appetite Media, said it was a "planned transition as part of Edipresse's overal strategy, when we purchased Appetite, to unify the teams under a single management structure for maximum synergy and efficiency".
"SK and Cecilia have both played an important role in Appetite Media's success and growth in Asia. They have been generous and tireless in their support from the very beginning of their association with Appetite. The company is very appreciative of their contributions and we wish them well," Goodridge said in a statement.
Appetite Media was sold to Edipresse last year and renamed Edipresse Appetite Media. Goh and Ho, who is also the vice president for Magazine Publishers Association of Singapore (MPAS), continued in their respective roles following the sale in 2008.
Both Ho and Goh were unavailable for comment at the time of writing.
Philip Hong will manage the day to day sales and revenue generation activities for the Edipresse Food Media division, which also includes Singapore's Best Restaurant Guides and Tassty.com. Editorially Gilbert Cheah, managing director of Edipresse Singapore, will be in charge.
