Singapore - Japanese casual wear brand Uniqlo has moved its PR account to Media Flair Communications on a retainer basis, following the end of its contract with Edelman.
The new agency is now tasked to achieve maximum brand visibility and awareness by educating the public about the Uniqlo's diverse merchandise mix. The agency will also communicate Uniqlo's brand positioning of ‘Changing Clothes, Changing Conventions, Change the World'.
As part of it's expansion plan, Uniqlo intends to open more stores in Singapore 2009, following the success of its first store in Tampines 1. Singapore is Uniqlo's first foray into the South East Asian market.
Ahead of the opening of its first store in Singapore Uniqlo appointed Tribal DDB and PHD as its creative and media agencies, with Edelman handling PR then.
