Publicis, Kinetic & Tribal DDB in for Mini

- Pitch received over 30 submissions
Singapore - BMW's Mini has shortlisted Publicis, Kinetic and Tribal DDB to the second round of creative review.
Confirming the development, R3's principal advisor Shufen Goh said: "We had received over 30 submissions, an overwhelming response once it was public knowledge. For the final round, we will be doing workshops instead of presentations. We're always finding ways to make pitches more effective for both sides and we've received compliments on this idea even from agencies who were not shortlisted into the final round. So we're really looking forward to it."
BMW called a pitch for its Mini model last month. The new agency that will handle Mini will begin work from July, this year. The Mini account has been held by an agency called U5OK in Bangkok since end of 2005.
The review follows the re-launch of Mini in Singapore under a new distributor Trans Eurokars, which also developed 'MINI Habitat' to distribute the car.
