M1 ups the ante in broadband battle

• M1 launches new broadband service in Singapore
• Frust prepaid mobile offering

Singapore - M1 has launched Singapore's first prepaid mobile broadband service, offering unlimited data usage for consumers.

M1's service is available from today and was developed from ideas gathered through consumer feedback.

"We have captured the market with attractive tariffs and an interesting range of broadband devices since we launched the island's first mobile broadband service in 2006. M1 continues to lead in this space with another new innovation for customers who require short term and infrequent broadband access," P. Subramaniam, M1's chief marketing officer, said.

"With this new exciting addition, M1 now has a full suite of services covering prepaid and postpaid mobile broadband as well as fixed broadband to offer the most appropriate solutions to meet the diverse needs of our customers."
