Lowe Asia expects strong growth

  • Lowe snags new businesses all around the region
  • Plans to boos investment in the region and improve with diversified services
  • A 19% growth for 2008 revenue, compared to 2007

Asia - Lowe Asia is having a solid start to the year with several business wins across the region, and optimistic of strong growth for the year it plans to boost investment in the region and build up diversified services.

Stephen Gatfield, CEO, Lowe Worldwide said: "Lowe is leading the charge for IPG's investment in Asia. We have a clear focus for our network in this region."

Diversification into digital, activation and PR will also improve marketing services offerings and strengthening the agency's ability to deliver fully integrated solutions, thus providing a platform to lead global campaigns, Gatfield added.

Last year's revenue recorded a 19% increase over 2007 and the first quarter, Lowe Asia reports, has been a strong one, especially on the new business front.

Charuvarn Vanasin, chairman, Lowe Thailand said: "Creating campaigns that are rooted in key consumer insights and our expertise in understanding the multicultural consumer is the key to our success in Asia."

She added that the biggest reward for the agency is the clients' respect and recognition for helping them break through category clutter and exploring new strategic marketing directions.

Lowe Thailand is a diversified business with disciplines including digital, activation and PR and is the hub office for Lowe SEA.

Lowe India (where Unilever accounts for 25% of business) has the largest network of offices, being present in five of its main metros.
