Singapore - The Singapore Management University (SMU) has launched a Y&R-created campaign for its ongoing admissions season.
"The World Is Our Campus" campaign runs till June end across print, online and outdoor platforms. However, the website launched as part of the campaign will continue to be available round the year.
The website boasts of a daily online chat function with admissions counselor, a feature that SMU claims is the first-of-its-kind for any university. Other highlights include an on-going SMU community blogs where anyone, including staff and students, can blog about their SMU experiences and it also video wall featuring testimonials from students, parents and faculty members.
"We have combined the best of both media - print and the web. The latter is also a medium where we can become our own media owner," Alan Goh, director of the Office of Undergraduate Admissions (OUA), said.
"We want to reach out to a global audience, not limited to Singapore. In so doing, we want to create a youth channel - a living, dynamic website that will grow beyond OUA into the schools and SMU as an overall entity," Goh added.
