Google boosts Analytics offering

- Launches qualification program
- Appoints authorised consultant
Singapore - Google is expanding its web analytics offerings and support for marketers, advertising agencies and businesses in Singapore and Southeast Asia.
Now along with the free Analytics tool, Google has launched a new individual qualification program and has appointed its first-ever Google Analytics Authorised Consultant (GAAC) for the local market.
The web analytics tools provide an understanding of online consumer behavior and users get online data to gain a deeper understanding of customers' needs. They can then build their website or online campaign around that to improve their websites, maximize their online marketing campaigns, and convert the online traffic into sales.
"In an economic slowdown when consumers are spending more time on the Internet looking for a great deal, local businesses have a great opportunity to use web analytics as a cost-effective, smart way to make sense of online consumer behaviour," said Vinoaj Vijeyakumaar, a customer solutions engineer at Google Southeast Asia.
The new Individual Qualification (IQ) is a skills qualification program which Google provides a free online course on covering web analytics techniques and Google Analytics implementation, administration, and analysis tools.
ClickTRUE has also been announced as the first-ever Google Analytics authorised consultant in Singapore and Southeast Asia.
The local online marketing company has met the qualifications of becoming a member of the elite program and this allows clickTRUE to provide Google Analytics advanced technical support and professional services to help companies in Singapore and Southeast Asia to measure and get the most value from their websites and online marketing campaigns.
"We are excited with Google's dedication in promoting web analytics in this region. Our participation in the Google Analytics authorised consultant program demonstrates our continued commitment to educate and deliver quality online marketing campaigns to our clients," Jereme Wong, chief operating officer of clickTRUE said.
