Google News hits Singapore

Singapore - Google has launched Google News in Singapore, bringing about 2.7 million Singaporean internet users the latest news from nearly 5000 English-language sources.
Google News for Singapore is available at http://news.google.com.sg/ and with this launch, there are now 56 regional editions of Google News available in 20 different languages. Users will have access to news from the likes of The Straits Times, Today and Channel News Asia as well as international media.
Google News is a comprehensive news search service that enables users to easily access a variety of perspectives on up-to-the-minute news by linking to stories from thousands of news outlets around the world.
