Group Eight brings Impact under its wing
Malaysia – In a bid to provide a complete marketing communications proposition with a regional focus, Singapore’s Group Eight added Kuala Lumpur-based public relations agency Impact Ideas Sdn Bhd to the fold.
Watson Lee, Group Eight’s group CEO and founder noted the “highly valuable strategic” partnership as a key component in the group's vision with “a keener competitive edge”.
“Impact Ideas will significantly augment our PR capabilities; boosting our IMC prowess and enabling us to help our clients fully harness the immense potential of PR in the region,” Lee said.
Impact Ideas – founded by Joanne Yeoh and Jennifer Thomas in 2002 – specialises in investor relations and public relations work in Malaysia.
Yeoh was formerly CEO of Mines Golf Resort and the executive director/head of corporate services and new businesses of Sunrise Bhd.
Thomas previously handled the publicity for companies which were making their debut on the stock exchange as well as trained public listed companies’ directors in bridging the gap with their investors, and the media with media advisory/protocols, press conferences and news releases.
Group Eight had also taken in The Advocate Group, Orient Design and creative agency Six Communications earlier this year.
