SMU hires MEC

Singapore - Singapore Management University (SMU) has appointed Mediaedge:cia Singapore to handle its media account following a pitch.
Mediaedge:cia jointly pitched for the SMU business with WPP-stablemate Y&R, which was successful in winning the creative component. SMU was founded in 2000 as Singapore's first private university and has more than 6000 students.
The SMU win for Mediaedge:cia follows a series of client wins across Asia Pacific totaling US13 million in new business, with the agency picking up the SkyCity Casino account in Adelaide and the D&G Watches and Jewellery account in Hong Kong. Mediaedge:cia Taiwan has also added A.S.O Shui-Mu International, Ferrero, Blockbuster and Baby Boss as new clients.
