No slowing as The Peninsula turns 80
Hong Kong - The city's flagship luxury hotel The Peninsula has launched a one-day only media blitz to celebrate its 80th year in operation.
The campaign sees The Peninsula take double-page spreads in most of Hong Kong's major newspapersand roadblock Yahoo's from page for thefull day.
The media campaign was managed by the hotel's media agency Carat, with the creative for the work executed by sister Aegis agency wwwins Consulting.
Interestingly, this is the first major campaign that wwwins and Carat have co-launched. Aegis acquired wwwins network around a year ago. Is this the first of many cooperative campaign to come?
Wwwins was appointed by the Peninsula Hotel to redesign its global site earlier this year.
The Peninsula is set to expand into Shanghai next year, in addition to hotels in Beijing Bangkok, Beijing, Manila and Tokyo.
