SMRT expands Saatchi Lab festivities

Singapore - Saatchi Lab has picked up more festive business from SMRT, this time adding Chinese New Year work to the Christmas project it picked up some months ago.

The agency is tasked with handling SMRT's CNY 2009 campaign which will run across the company's entire Xchange network. Recently, Saatchi Lab also rolled out SMRT's Christmas campaign where, for the first time, promotions were extended to all five of its Xchanges or featuring close to 200 retailers.

Saatchi Lab declined to comment on the total value of both SMRT projects but added that media for the campaigns encompassed online applications and the full range of SMRT's media network.

"The award of both seasonal retail/F&B campaigns is further testament to Saatchi Lab's understanding of the competitive retail environment and the consumer after having worked on malls like Paragon, The Central, Fraser's Centrepoint Malls and the new retail concept at Serangoon Central," Lionel Goh, business development director for Saatchi LAB, said.

Recently, the agency was appointed by Taka Jewellery and Spring Singapore.
